Touch a Truck
About TOuch a Truck
Crisis Nursery and Duce Construction are excited to invite you to, Paving Pathways: A Touch a Truck event. Families with children of all ages are welcome to join us at Carle at the Fields, Saturday, August 21 from 9am to 2pm. Like the programs and services at Crisis Nursery, Touch-a-Truck will be available for the entire community to access, completely free of charge.
As the presenting sponsor, we asked Duce Construction why they chose to support this event. They said, “We are proud to partner with Crisis Nursery for the Paving Pathways: Touch a Truck event. The Nursery is doing tremendous things in our community by supporting families in crisis and helping to build a strong foundation for children.”
From construction to public transportation, emergency services to utility vehicles, your whole family will have a blast exploring, climbing, seeing, and touching all the trucks. Stop by Crisis Nursery’s Donation Station to learn more about what this event is giving back to the community. With food trucks and additional activities on-site, there is sure to be something for everyone. The first hour of this event (9am-10am) will be dedicated to our friends who are sensitive to sound and light. During this sensory friendly hour, there will not be any sirens, flashing lights, or horns.
Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (sensory friendly hour starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 10:00 a.m.).
