United Way of Champaign County brings people and resources together to create positive change and lasting impact in our community. They are instrumental in helping to provide resources for our Safe Children and Strong Families programs.
One of most treasured partnerships is with Kappa Delta Sorority on the University of Illinois campus.
Their commitment to Crisis Nursery began almost immediately after we opened our doors in 1984.
The ladies of Kappa Delta are committed to supporting our mission through various fundraising and volunteer efforts.
Books from Brek collects, processes, and distributes quality new and gently used children's books
to significantly increase book ownership among at-risk infants, toddlers, and school-age
children throughout the Champaign/Urbana area.
The nonprofit was established in March, 2016 to celebrate the life of Brek Thomas Neiswender.
Brek loved turning the pages of his books and having someone read to him.
His life lives on through the smiles and joy of others.
